The Right System.
The Right Approach.

From a damaged shutter to a new warehouse opening, start with the work your door needs to do. Explore the options for your building, traffic and working day.

From opening to operation

Good Door Work Starts With The Details.

A loading door is part of your working site. The access, controls and daily traffic matter as much as the door itself.

  1. Tell Us About The Site

Share the location, door type and work needed. Include access restrictions, fault symptoms or planned changes to the opening.

  2. Agree The Scope

The opening, operating demands and safety requirements shape the assessment. Get the proposed work and commercial terms clear before proceeding.

  3. Plan The Work And Handover

Coordinate the work with your operation. Keep the relevant checks, instructions and maintenance information with your site records.

Can A Bent Roller Shutter Be Repaired?

A bent roller shutter may be repairable if the damage is localised and matching parts are available. The guides, barrel, fixings and drive also need checking because impact can spread beyond the visible slats. Keep the door out of use until assessed, and compare a written repair proposal with replacement if the damage is extensive.

How Often Should Industrial Doors Be Serviced?

Industrial door servicing should follow the manufacturer’s instructions and a risk assessment of condition, use and environment. A busy dispatch door may need a different schedule from an occasional-use opening. Ask for a written plan covering the relevant assets, user checks and the circumstances that trigger an earlier inspection, such as impact or unusual movement.

Does A Dock Leveller Need A LOLER Examination?

A dock leveller is not automatically covered by LOLER simply because its deck changes height. The equipment’s purpose and use determine the applicable duties, and PUWER remains relevant. Ask a competent assessor to confirm the inspection arrangements for your specific equipment, especially where a system also includes lifting tables or other lifting machinery.

What Does Your Opening Need?

A repair, a replacement or a planned service visit. Give us a few useful details and we can help establish the right next step.

For an existing door, include the fault and whether it is open or closed. For a new installation, tell us the intended use and approximate opening size.

If a door appears unsafe, stop using it and follow your site safety procedure. This form is not monitored as an emergency response channel.
